The first monthly Readthrough will be held at the Fire Hall Theatre in Grand Forks.
Two scripts will be presented: "Hello is There Any Body There" by Ian Hornby and "Get Smart" by Christopher Sergel. We can read one or both, and follow by a discussion. The group can then decide what script to read next month.
Kathleen Coudle King will be bringing her famous Baked Ziti for a pot luck. All participants are urged to bring a treat but not required.
Tom Hanson at the Masonic Center for being the best host we could have hoped for, Dakota Harvest Bakers for the scrumptious desserts at the Fireman's Ball, O'Heavens Cakes! for the delicious cupcakes, Simply Sweet for the truffles,
the El Roco for the copious amounts of wine,
Karen Braaten for donating her time to play piano music, BearCat Karaoke for donating her time and talent, Chuck Gust & Sharon Myron for donating the live accordion music, Hugos for the flowers,
the Empire Arts Center (especially Emily, Becca, and Charity), all the Table Captains for convincing people this was going to be an event worth attending, all the people who donated items to the silent auction, all the people who purchased items at the silent auction, paid for a dollar dance, raffle, and tickets!
And a standing ovation for all our volunteers who organized, baked, cleaned, served, greeted -- you name it! They did it!
Thank you all so very much!!
