This classic will be sure to deliver the entertainment factor with its comical characters and somewhat inappropriate themes. In this musical, Max Bialystock and Leo Bloom find that tapping their way through a show biz scam won’t be as easy as they’d planned. The Producer’s delivers Mel Brooks’ classic dark humor and brazen satire through this very clever musical. Fans of his movies ‘Blazing Saddles’ and ‘Young Frankenstein’ will find no shortage of his trademark within The Producers.
The production supports a large cast lead by: Paul Vonasek (Max Bialystock), Matt Berdahl (Leo Bloom), Daniel Dutot (Franz Liebkind), Haley Anne Boyd (Ulla), Daniel Walstad (Roger DeBris) and Justin Heim (Carmen Ghia). The mastermind behind the scam, Bialystock is a charming but rather unethical producer who finds help from a young and unsuspecting accountant Bloom, who can only dream of someday becoming a Broadway producer. Bialystock and Bloom venture to find the worst of everything: the wrong script, the wrong cast, and the wrong director. The ensemble consists of: Michelle McCauley, Emily Wirkus, Tomas Grande, Casey Smith, Amy Driscoll, Lori Boucher, Emily Burkland, Cody Oss, Sue Moe, Ken McGurren, Tyler Rood and Daniel Wiebusch.
