Staff and Management
The
Greater Grand Forks Community Theatre is managed
by a part-time director, and a staff of volunteer
production and technical directors. Oversight
and governance is executed by a nine member
board of directors.

Executive Director
Klipfel is
an award winning director of stage plays
and has been involved in the arts since
early childhood. He holds a Bachelor of
Arts in Visual Communications and Performing
Arts, and advanced degrees from Oxford,
England.
Klipfel has
been performing since High School, theatrically
under the tutelage of Dr. Jay Sieszryn
and Janice Pohl. Musically, he has sung
under the direction of John W. Williams,
Dr. Bradley Creswell, and Moses Hogan.
Since moving
to Grand Forks, Klipfel has worked on
plays for East Grand Forks High School,
the Fire Hall Theatre and Crimson Creek
Players. Klipfel currently serves as the
Executive Director of the Greater Grand
Forks Community Theatre, Crimson Creek
Players and the North Dakota Ballet Company.
Klipfel is also an award winning visual
designer and photographer, having shot
subjects all over the world.
Professionally,
Klipfel serves as the marketing coordinator
for the University of North Dakota's 125th
Centennial, and previously served as executive
director of the Grand Forks Marketing
Services Partnership for the Arts, a collaborative
effort to increase the sophistication
of area arts and cultural organizations.

the CulturePulse.org concept. |

Christopher Berg

Associate Director of Programming
and Asset Management
Berg joined
the Community Theatre in 2008 as a production
director for Crimson Creek. Berg attended
North Dakota State University in Fargo,
ND, for Theatre, and has been an active
participant in the North Dakota theatrical
scene most of his life.
Berg began
working with Crimson Creek in 2005 and
has served as an actor, a company manager,
and an assistant director before taking
the help of Crimson Creek's summer productions
in 2008.
At the Community
Theatre, Berg is responsible for programming
and asset management, including costuming
and properties. |
